Watch: Kuldeep's Stump-Breaking Delivery To Dismiss Pooran Stuns Internet

Delhi Capitals' spinner Kuldeep Yadav wreaked havoc against Lucknow Super Giants in the 26th match of IPL 2024 at Ekana Cricket Stadium on Friday. The left-arm spinner was brought into the attack in the 8th over of the LSG innings and took only three balls to weave his magic in the game. He got the wicket of Marcus Stoinis and that was not the end rather the start of Kuldeep's carnage. What followed was another beauty from Kuldeep on the fourth ball of the over to rattle new batter Nicholas Pooran for a first-ball duck.

It was a straighter delivery on off and that cleaned up Pooran. To everyone's surprise, the ball from Kuldeep also broke the off-stump from its base and the umpires had to change it.

"Ball of the match," wrote a fan. "What a bowler! What a performer!" commented another fan in the video.

Kuldeep continued the carnage and went on to dismiss LSG skipper KL Rahul later in the innings. He finished with figures of 3 for 20 in his quota of four overs.

Kuldeep played the first two matches for DC in IPL 2024 and managed to pick three wickets in it. He, however, missed the remaining three games due to injury before making a comeback into the playing XI during the LSG game.

The game began with LSG skipper KL Rahul winning the toss and opting to bat first.

"We would have batted first as well. Few of our players got injured, so need to find the right playing XI. We have two changes. Mukesh (Kumar) and Kuldeep (Yadav) are back. They were injured, looking forward to seeing them back on the field," said DC captain Rishabh Pant after losing at the toss vs LSG.
